Arabic Courses

Our flagship Arabic language program, offered in the fall, winter, spring and summer semesters, is designed to immerse non-native speakers in the language and culture. Over the course students will engage in 4 hours of daily instruction, with each instructional hour being 50 minutes long, ensuring a balanced and comprehensive learning experience.

Program Highlights:

-Modern Standard Arabic (Fusha): 10 hours per week dedicated to building a strong foundation in grammar, vocabulary, and formal communication.

– Colloquial Arabic (Amiya): 4 hours per week focused on practical conversational skills for everyday situations.

– Content Subjects: 4 hours per week exploring journalism, literature, history, and more, tailored to students’ proficiency levels (Note: Content subjects are not included for beginner levels; focus is on Fusha, Amiya, and basic skills).

-Spoken Conversation/Language Exchange: 2 hours per week to enhance fluency through real-life practice and cultural exchange.

-Writing Practice: 2 hours per week to develop and refine written communication skills.

Additional Information:

– The institute reserves the right to reduce the weekly instructional hours by half if there are fewer than 3 students in a class.

– Students receive a 10% discount on each additional semester they enroll in at the institute.

– The program can be redesigned according to students’ requests, needs, and proficiency levels.

For students who wish to immerse themselves in Arabic language and culture, we offer intensive language programs. These programs provide an accelerated learning experience with a focus on practical communication skills and cultural understanding. Intensive courses are available for various proficiency levels.

The intensive course is offered in the winter and summer terms, totaling 200 hours over two months. Additionally, it is available on a monthly basis, totaling 100 hours. This monthly program includes 5 hours of instruction per day, five days a week, and is tailored according to the students’ levels and needs.

Our individual lessons are tailored to the student’s schedule and are conducted face-to-face during two available periods. The lessons are available during institute hours from 8 AM to 4 PM, Sunday to Thursday, or after hours from 4 PM to 7 PM. Discounts are offered based on the number of hours paid in advance. In addition to general language courses, we offer specialized programs tailored to specific interests or professional needs. These may include courses in Arabic for business, media, diplomacy, or academic purposes. Our institute offers exam preparation courses for internationally recognized Arabic language proficiency exams, such as the Arabic Language Proficiency Test (ALPT), ACTFL Oral proficiency Interview (OPI), and other testing that target other language skills such as writing, reading and listening. These courses provide intensive practice and strategies to help students succeed in their exams.

We understand the importance of flexibility in learning, which is why we offer online and blended learning programs. These programs combine self-paced online modules with live virtual classes, allowing students to study Arabic from anywhere with an internet connection.

We offer a special monthly program focused on learning colloquial Arabic. This program includes 3 hours of daily lessons for one month. It emphasizes acquiring the language skills needed for daily life, real-world environments, and interacting with people. Whether you’re shopping, navigating the city, or engaging with locals, this program will help you gain the confidence and fluency to communicate effectively in various everyday situations.

To complement language learning, we offer cultural immersion programs that allow students to experience Jordanian culture firsthand. These programs include excursions to historical sites, participation in cultural events, and interaction with local communities.

Our lessons include culture, cooking, history, art, and music, and can be taught individually or in groups depending on the program and students.
